General Luna is the beating heart of Siargao, and Tourism Road is its main artery — a winding stretch that connects the surf breaks at Cloud 9 to the town and the port. If you are staying on the island, almost everything good is a short motorbike ride along it.
Time it with the post-surf window
The island has a rhythm. Surfers finish at Cloud 9, ride back toward town, and start looking for a proper meal between 5:30 and 8:00 PM. That golden hour is the best — and busiest — time to eat. Come a little earlier for a relaxed table, or later for a quiet, lamp-lit dinner.
Eat well without the markup
You can spend Manila prices on the beach clubs, or you can eat like a local. The sweet spot is the growing inland scene just off the sand: open-air, unpretentious, sandy feet welcome. Look for places that make their own dough and source carefully rather than chasing trends.
